During restringing, you also have the option to add extra gemstones, pearls, or precious metal beads to refresh and enhance the look of your necklace or bracelet. I can typically supply replacement clasps, pearls, gems, and beads—subject to availability.
Restringing Options:

Standard Stringing: Your beads are restrung onto strong jeweler’s wire. This method is very sturdy, but over time it may develop kinks or show wear—especially with heavy or hard stones. Regular inspection is recommended to keep your jewelry secure.

Knotted Stringing: Each pearl or bead is individually knotted on professional pearl thread. This traditional technique offers protection against losing pearls if the strand breaks. However, thread can wear over time—knots may stretch, fray, fade, or become dirty. If your piece looks tired, it’s likely time for restringing!
Heirloom pieces can be carefully restored to their original glory or updated according to your preferences.
