Product Care
Pearls
Pearls are naturally delicate. With a little care, they will retain their lustre for years to come.
- Avoid perfumes, moisturisers, body spray and hairspray.
- Avoid touching your piece with oily or dirty fingertips.
- After wearing, wipe pearls gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove build-up that may damage the nacre.
- Keep pearls separate from hard jewellery such as rings or bracelets to prevent scratches.
- Store pearls in a soft-cloth pouch or soft-lined jewellery box. Never use an airtight zip-lock bag, as pearls contain trace amounts of water and may become brittle.
S925 Sterling Silver
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time. This is not a fault: gentle polishing will help restore its beauty.
- Avoid perfumes, moisturisers, body spray and hairspray.
- Avoid touching your piece with oily or dirty fingertips.
- Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or washing your hands. Water and perspiration can quickly tarnish silver.
- Polish gently with a sterling silver polishing cloth or a soft-bristle toothbrush when needed.
- Store your piece in its protective linen or cotton pouch.
Rhodium-Plated Sterling Silver
Rhodium plating gives sterling silver a bright, long-lasting finish. With normal wear, the plating may gradually wear away and the natural silver beneath may become visible. Any light tarnish can be gently polished at home.
- Avoid perfumes, moisturisers, body spray and hairspray.
- Avoid touching your piece with oily or dirty fingertips.
- Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or washing your hands.
- Polish gently with a sterling silver polishing cloth or a soft-bristle toothbrush when needed.
- Store your piece in its protective linen or cotton pouch.
18ct Gold-Plated Sterling Silver
Our gold-plated pieces are finished with 18ct gold over 925 sterling silver. Gold plating naturally wears over time and is not considered a fault. Keep beauty products completely dry and off your hands before wearing or touching your piece.
- Avoid perfumes, moisturisers, body spray and hairspray.
- Avoid touching your piece with oily or dirty fingertips.
- Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or washing your hands. Water and perspiration can wear down gold plating.
